Step 1----Measure 4 feet from the floor and place a mark on wall.

Step 2----Take the screw hook and screw it through the predrilled hole in the wood block leaving a few threads on the other side.

Step 3----Then, place the block on the mark you made on the wall. Screw in until snug. Make sure hook is facing up. If you prefer, velcro or double-sided tape can be used.

Step 4----Take the ring and tie one end of the string to it. Hang it on the hook.

Step 5----Take the loose end of the string and walk straight back from the wall 3 to 4 feet.

Step 6----Reach up and make a mark wherever you are setting it up in direct line with the hook.

Step 7----On this mark screw in the screw eye. Then, attach swivel.

Step 8----Tie the cord to the end of the swivel loosely, leaving the ring on the hook. This string was made for a standard 8 foot ceiling.

Step 9----Remove the ring from the hook. Stand back with the ring in hand and string fully extended.

Step 10--Swing the ring gently toward the hook. If it keeps hitting the hook and not going on, adjust by making the string longer or shorter. Once set up correctly, clip off the excess string leaving 2 inches for later adjustments.

*All adjustments are made at the knot in the swivel.

HOW TO PLAY--Stand back directly in front of the hook with the ring and string fully extended. Swing the ring gently. It is not necessary to swing it hard. Matter-of-fact, by doing it gently you will soon develop a smooth rhythm to your swing. Once you loop the ring on the hook for the first time, you will find it easier from then on. Each person gets five tries with each turn. The first one to get five ringers wins the round. (ringers do not have to be consecutive). The best 2 out of 3 rounds is a match.

HELPFUL HINT--The ring will go on the hook much easier if you will swing it slightly to the left or to the right. This will cause the ring to loop itself onto the hook.
